Brazilian designer will be one of the highlights of the country in Italy
The Brazilian designer Maurício D’Ávila, from Geo Luz&Cerâmica, will be the highlight of the Design Week in Milan, which takes place between April 17th and 22nd, in Italy, at the Fuorisalone event. Several Brazilian companies will be part of the Be Brasil exhibition, organized by APEX (Brazilian Agency for the Promotion of Exports and Investments), with the aim of promoting the country’s talents to the international market. The idea is to highlight the main attributes of Brazilian artists, such as creativity and innovation, in addition to guiding important themes such as sustainability. For the exhibition, Geo brings several novelties and releases, inspired by the best in Brazil. Among the designer’s pieces are the Gaya and Guanabara pendants, and the Riviera lampshade, which, like the other pieces of the brand, have original and modern shapes, made 100% by hand in ceramic, adding artistic value and gains in texture, finish, precision and ecological philosophy.
